Welcome to Safe Families for Children of Greater Chattanooga! We are a nonprofit, church-based and volunteer-driven ministry that helps families in need by providing temporary care for the children. Parents are given the time and space they need to work toward creating a secure and stable home environment. Safe Families for Children thrives through partnerships with local churches.

Our aim is to:

• Empower and equip the Church to effectively and tangibly show families the love of Christ
• Empower and strengthen families so they can thrive together
• Deflect children from being unnecessarily placed into the foster care system
